a fresh Word.....

I love How God speaks to His children in themes....
"LOVE is the theme...LOVE is supreme....."
All we need is LOVE!!!!!!
LOVE one another.
LOVE them like Jesus.
I can't get away from it, not that I'm trying, but everywhere I turn I see people who need LOVE.
They don't need church.
They don't need fixin'.
They don't need intervention.
They simply need LOVE.
Jesus said to His disciples before He left this earth, "Love one another. This is how they will know that you are my disciples."
It truly is a recurring theme isn't it?
I think it was this last year that some of us in this blog-community received a theme for the year that was LOVE and I believe that He is simply reminding me of my commitment to LOVE His people as He has loved me.
What does that look like?
I am sure that it is different for everyone, afterall we are gifted in many ways, but for me it is as simple as "show and tell".
Show them you love them and don't forget to tell them, too.
I will.
Will you?

settling in....

We had a wonderful vacation from Oregon all the way to California and all the way back.
Really, really good times, good memories, good food(we Never eat at anything available to us at home when we are on vacation). I was very mindful that perhaps this family vacation will be the last for Lacey who will be entering into her next phase of life next year, whatever that looks like, and so it was extra sweet in that way.
Disneyland has a way of bringing out the kid in anyone and it was fun to see Lace and Vada become little girls again enchanted by the magic that is Disney.
Great memories!
As I am settling in to the summer(finally) by getting the yard back from the hostile takeover by the weeds, cleaning and organizing closets, finally getting drapes hung for the playroom, and basically getting on top of things at home that went WAY to the wayside during the outage I am feeling that my girlie relationships are needing some attention and so that is my task this week, afterall, for those of you who know me at all my motto has always been: people are more important than projects.
My people...you are so warned...i'm a comin' a callin'.
